The contest is over - though as of today the demo castle (pictured at right) still stands. I am in the process of putting up pictures and a list of all the winners. Special thanks to Josh Bradford for providing me with so many digital pictures. The t-shirts turned out great - and are still available locally for $12 each at Ship Shape on the Island. Or - you can order them directly from the SOBs via e-mail. Be sure to state size and color. The weather could have been better - intermittent showers cleared the beach on several occasions - but the crowds kept coming back and we are pretty sure this year's event drew the biggest turnout in the contest's history. Thanks to everyone who dropped by - special thanks to the participants and an extra special thanks to all the people who helped pull this thing off. |
