Remember "SPIMA"? (South Padre Island Merchants Association)

I have no photos of any sculptures, but I was able to produce sopies of the poster I labored so lovingly over (left) and the reallky nice t-shirt design (below) - the first of many created by talented artist Alan Carrington.

I also know that we pulled off this event on a very thin shoestring budget - my copy of Walter's notes indicates that most of our sponsors ponied up $25- $50 to get their names associated with the event, including Pelican's Pouch Pub, Becky's, Rovans, Buck Builders, Jakes and Ivy's Art Gallery.
